Irish Masters News Pt. 5!

The Irish Masters is less than three weeks away! That’s pretty exciting! We have a few more announcements relating to the nitty gritty details for the event, including a finalised timetable, a new casual ticket, and a slight change in format.

First up, we have the finalised timetable copied below. Event start times will be strictly adhered to, so make sure you show up on time for the events you’re registered for. Players who have pre-registered for a Qualifier need to show up in the first twenty minutes of the registration period to confirm that they are at the event and not asleep somewhere. In the final ten minutes of the registration period, we will allow other players who are present and not pre-registered for the event to fill unclaimed slots. So make sure you check in on time or you could lose your spot!

Secondly, we have a new type of ticket for the Irish Masters. This is the two-day Casual ticket and it will allow access to all of our awesome Scramblers, open play tables and social events on Saturday and Sunday. It will not allow you to play in the main events (Qualifiers, Hardcore, Team Tournament). This ticket will cost 20 Euro and will be on sale from Saturday morning at the registration desk. It’s a great option for anyone who doesn’t want to play in the really competitive events but would like to play some Warmachine and socialize with players from all over the world.

Lastly, we have a minor format change. The Irish Masters Qualifier events now allow the use of ADR. We polled all of the registered players and the response we received was overwhelmingly in favor of allowing ADR in list construction. We will be adding only ADR to the event, though, not other Masters’ rules such as Divide and Conquer.
